Hello,

I’m Kevin, and I’m the founder and master craftsman at KRH Gifts and Woodworking Inc.

I was influenced by four great men: My father, both grandfathers and my father-in-law. All these men were craftsmen of wood, and they patiently passed down their knowledge to me. I made my first cutting board at age 12. (I still have this board today.)

My dad’s shop was small but organized. He and my grandfather’s knew how to use tools and be creative, and they mentored me all of my life.

I spent most of my career in commercial insurance, working my way up from the mail room to the executive suite. When I retired early, I was looking for something to do that I enjoy, that could use my creativity, and which I could teach to my own sons. My father-in-law, “The Colonel,” encouraged me to dive back into woodworking, so I did.

Three years later, in 2018, KRH Gifts and Woodworking was born.

Today, people from all over are buying KRH luxury boards for their own homes, to give as personal and corporate gifts, and to share with beloved family and friends. In my workshop, I use software to establish my designs. Then I incorporate the best domestic and foreign woods to create my boards. If requested, I also apply laser engraving to personalize each board.

I strive to make each of my pieces a work of art for you and the ones you love. I love hearing my customers say that when their board is not in use, it is proudly displayed in their home.
